We collect email addresses from those who subscribe to our newsletter. This is used solely to send you updates about our work, industry insights, and hospitality perspectives.
website analytics
We use basic analytics to understand how visitors use our site — which pages you visit, how long you stay, and what devices you use. This helps us improve the experience. This data is anonymized and aggregated.
messages you send us on social media
If you message us on Instagram or Facebook, we receive the content of your message along with the public profile information those platforms provide — typically your name, username or handle, and profile photo. If you comment on one of our posts, we receive the comment and the same public profile details.
We store these messages so we can answer you, keep track of conversations already in progress, and avoid asking you something you have already told us. We do not import your social profile into any advertising audience, and we do not use it to contact you on channels you did not write to us on.

responding to inquiries
Information from contact forms is used only to reach out to you about your project, answer your questions, and potentially schedule a consultation.
answering social messages
Messages you send us on Instagram or Facebook are used to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation so nothing gets missed or repeated. Replies are written and approved by a person at Copper+Oak before they are sent. We do not run automated chatbots, and we do not send promotional messages to people who have not messaged us first.
newsletter communications
Your email is used to send you our newsletter and hospitality insights. You can unsubscribe from newsletter communications at any time using the link in the email.
improving our website
Analytics help us understand what content resonates and how to make our site work better for visitors. We use this insight to improve design, copy, and user experience.
we don't sell your data.
Period. We don't have a business model built on selling your information. Your data is for our use only — to serve you better and improve our services.
cookies.
We use cookies in a basic way. Analytics cookies help us understand visitor behavior in aggregate. We don't use tracking cookies designed to follow you across the web. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings if you prefer.
visitor identification & advertising.
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email. third-party services.
We work with trusted third-party services like Plausible Analytics to track website performance, RB2B for visitor identification, and an email service provider to manage our newsletter. These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We only share the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
We use Meta's official Instagram and Messenger platforms to receive and answer messages sent to our Instagram account and Facebook Page. Your use of those platforms is governed by Meta's own privacy policy. We hold a copy of the messages you send us, and you can ask us to delete it at any time using the request below.

You can request that we delete your information from our systems. Contact us at hello@copperoak.studio with your request, and we'll remove your data within 30 days.
